About Theresa Wyatt

I have been painting for over 30 years.
For years I painted exclusively in watercolors -
a few can be seen in my gallery.

However, several years ago I had several ideas
that I felt could best be expressed as
abstracts using acrylics, and found that
I loved the freedom and possibilities!
I also enjoy using various materials such as
playing cards and stones —
what fun!!

For me, art is about expressing feelings and ideas,
telling a story,
capturing an element of beautiful nature,
or just playing with form and color.

Art enriches my life and thrills my imagination —
both creating it and appreciating it.
